Middlemist.com is a multipurpose web site that displays information of general interest as well as information of interest to members of the Middlemist, Nickell, and Woeber families, tracing genealogy of the main roots for the children of Dennis and Melanie Middlemist. If you are visiting for genealogy purposes click on the photos to enter any of the three branches we present here. If you wish to browse the photo special for the month, the topics vary widely from photos taken on vacation to photo sets in memory of loved ones.

Clicking on the “kilt guy” will take you to my “blog”, and clicking on the book photo will take you to information about “George Washington’s Smallest Army: The Miracle Before Trenton,” a fictional tale about a group of animals that help George Washington during the American Revolutionary War.

Photo Specials include such things as memoriam to Arteen Nickell who died in 2009, and a set of historical photos of the “Simpson” family, which yielded Jean and Katherine Middlemist, who married Bloomfield and James Middlemist. These will change periodically so be sure to check them often

You can navigate to family history or photo albums by clicking on the headings: Home, Blog, Genealogy and so on. Family photo albums change periodically as more will be added and some deleted to make room for new ones. This initial set is low in quantity but will grow in the next few weeks.

I encourage you to send photos, family stories, and other information you would like posted. I post the photos in .jpeg format and prefer 300-600 dpi scans. You can also send original photos and I will scan them and return them to you, but the sending of valuable old photos is not encouraged.
